Year Up was struggling to bring students into its training program. I led a team through redesigning and revamping the applicant experience, resulting in a 60% increase in interest and an estimated 5,000 staff hours annually redirected from routine tasks to personalized support.
Believe, a social housing association, needed a strategic approach for engaging residents in decarbonization. My team co-developed a set of “Radical Care” operating principles to ground their efforts.
All UK social housing associations were facing the same challenges of engaging residents in retrofitting homes. We brought them together around fun fictional scenarios, to imagine possible housing futures and develop a shared vision and values.
Emerging from the pandemic, UK and US healthcare systems faced daunting backlogs in elective procedures, plus a staff burnout crisis. I co-facilitated a design thinking initiative that brought designers and healthcare staff together to generate 10 initial concepts for solutions, documented in a white paper, "Human-First Healthcare."
¡HolaKids!, a Spanish immersion preschool, needed to regroup after the pandemic upended services and ways of working. I supported the leadership team in a pulse check with parents and staff, and developing an action plan that addressed their current needs.
Logitech and CERN challenged RCA students to design innovative solutions for health and safety in the wake of the pandemic. My team re-imagined the primary care office as a community-based preventative care center.
Job training programs and employer partners were struggling to connect low-income young adults with relevant opportunities. My team created a talent sourcing tool that translated job and training offerings into terms and a format that young adults could intuitively understand.
